Follow the rules below and moving will be… a piece of cake!
Divide your home into zones. Start packing rooms less in use.
Separate belongings with courage, leaving behind what you don’t use. Ask yourselve: “How long haven’t I used this? How long since I last wore it? If I saw it today, would I buy it?” Moving is always a good opportunity to clean from unnecessary items and start afresh.
HOW TO… BOX
Place books and heavier items in small boxes, lighter items in larger ones. Mark the boxes with our special moving day stickers and identify their number. Which box out of how many in total. For example 2/10 (two out of ten).
CLOTHES IN A BOX
Don’t use suitcases for hanged clothes. Let us use moving day special boxes with the metal bar especially design for this purpose.
PULL THE PLUG
The day before moving, empty and unplug the refrigerator.
KEEP IT CLEAR
Make sure boxes stay in the rooms they belong. Keep corridors clear so we move easiy.
DO NOT WATER
Do not water plants for 3 days in order to avoid making a mess and to keep pots as light as possible for easier transport.
AVOID ONE BY ONE
Do not move items one by one, on your own. It doesn’t help when moving isn’t organized. Scattered items in the new place usually complicate our job.
Use small boxes for glass wear, not exceeding 4-5kg. Wrap individually and make sure to stick moving day special sticker FRAGILE on each one.
If you have paintings or pieces of art that need special handling, let us know so we can provide special packaging and directions.
